Renewal of housing stock in Slovakia
At the end of 2005 an international German-Slovak research project started. It aims to analyse effectiveness of housing management in Slovakia, to propose recommendations for changes in the legislation framework and to compile a concept for education and training of managers of the housing stock. The project is conducted in partnership with German organisations InWIS and IWO and with expertise input from the Slovak Ministry of Construction and Regional Development; PSS, a.s. (First Construction Savings Bank, Inc.); the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy and German Federal Ministry for Transport, Construction and Housing. The project is funded by Fond PSS, a.s., WĂĽstenrot a.s., and the mentioned Austrian and German Ministries.
