International cooperation for development of education on heritage preservation
At the beginning of summer 2005 the BHCD Dept. provided organisational backup for one of the meetings of ICOMOS CIF (International Training Committee) that took place in Svätý Jur. The BHCD Dept. is, through one of its senior-academic fellows, involved in compiling concepts for education on heritage preservation. Outputs of the mentioned meeting were presented at the 15th General Assembly and Scientific Symposium of ICOMOS in October 2005 in China.
The department also continues in cooperation with the Norwegian Bryggen Foundation. It joined the preparation of the project that aims to create a network of European training programmes on traditional skills for restoration of traditional wooden architecture.
