Preparation of candidates for work in EU Institutions
The experts in a field of European Integration organizes preparatory courses for people interested in positions in EU institutions regularly since 2004. In 2004 there was a 3-day course in French organized with the Center of European Studies in Strasbourg and the French Embassy in Slovak Republic. In 2005 and 2006 we organized 2-days courses in Slovak combined with an English part prepared with support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Courses give overview of information on EU issues which are necessary for passing the tests, the participants are also trained in so called verbal reasoning – tests of knowledge of foreign language and so called numerical reasoning – tests of logical mathematic thinking, practical experience of candidates who took part in competition.
In 2007 the courses will be extended with preparation for written tests – essays on expert topic and preparation for interview.
The dates of courses will be fixed according to deadlines of concrete competitions set up by European Personnel Selection Office.
