ReUrban Mobile
An international Fifth Framework research project entitled ReUrban Mobile funded by European Commission was officially opened in Leipzig on October 2002 and will continue to 2005. AINova / AC/BHD Dpt. is one of the research institutions that analyzes possibilities and obstacles for re-urbanization of inner city residential areas. Re-urbanization is meant to be a comprehensive strategy aimed at development of housing and living conditions in the entire core city, in particular its historical residential areas. Partner institutions involved in the project are: City of Leipzig, Ljubljana, Bologna and Leon, UFZ Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig, Krakow University of Technology, Urban Planning Institute Slovenia, University of Ljubljana, London University, Sheffield Hallum University and Institute of Geonics in Brno.
